In 1938, men of the Republican Party in Chester Township organized the inaugural meeting of the Chester Township Republican Club. It was held at the Milldale schoolhouse. (Source: Mendham-Chester Tribune)

 

The Club was rejuvenated in 2002 by Ed McCarthy, Mike Pellitier, & Bill Asdal.
 

The Chester and Mendham Republican Clubs joined together in October 2011.
